A New Day

There seems so much going on right now, with Inception (great movie) see it if you have the time and definitely see it now, MSN, Facebook and so many distractions. I think maybe i'll delete my facebook account. So uni-work, assignment due friday and church stuff going on. Still lots to look forwards to:
soccer on saturdays
lifegroup
church (ablaze, the most alive place in Brisbane)
uni friends
QUT Christians.
Seems like the best things to do are to make a list of things you enjoy when you're upset.
Luckily the best things in life are free anyway:
God's grace poured through on Jesus's death on the cross
Life itself
Good books
Sunsets
Rainbows
Laughter
and the list goes on....

The Power of the King

John 3:16-18
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned"

God has already forgiven every sin possible in mankind except the rejection of His Son. By accepting His Son Christ people admit their need for him and God cleanses them and makes them anew. In fact He keeps cleansing them until the day a person dies. Christ has already died for all the sins. The good news is that they are fully forgiven and people can be cleansed as white as snow. This is a truth that shouldn't possibly be compromised- it’s a truth when people understand and accept their lives become powerful. The understanding that there is a God who cares deeply and wonderfully for them is a incredible and powerful truth. That God disciplines people but never in anger, He is always willing to lift them up off the ground. How beautiful is that truth? As Christians we can never be condemned for our sins? Though we may fall, we are always righteous by His blood.
